shoot 8 2nd final image image
This is one of my most successful images from this shoot. This is my interpretation of the girl looking over the lake where her and the young boy died. This shows that she is still looking for her lost one in the lake and shows her overshadowing the lake at night. For this image I decided to keep the in colour to show the difference in my images from black and white to colour frames. But without the background the picture would look very monochrome due to the image being shot at night. This only had some light due to aperture being around F/8 to let some light into the image. Due to using long exposure the water has become misty making the water looks like its part of a painting. I did this from having a 180 second shutter speed. When editing I decided to crop the image to make the man be a apart of the rule of thirds and it cuts out unnecessary sky. This has made the image have a very strong composition. This makes the image look a lot better. The mood and feeling of this image would be sadness and regret due to her looking over the lake in which she died for her long lost love. This image has a slight blur in the background from the tripod moving a little due to the wind. So when I next shoot I will take a bigger tripod so it will stop the possibility of blur within the photos. Also to make this image better I would have the building on the right lit up a bit because this is where the young girl lived.
