This is my first final image from shoot 4. This is one of my favourite images from this shoot. I wanted to explore lighting and long exposure. Light paintings connect both lights and long exposure together to create an image. In the process of this photo I used a torch and a light sword . I like the contrast between light and dark and this image was made off Manual light such as the torch and light sword. I also like the idea of unnatural photos and creating them through using different objects. This gives the photos different meanings. I think this photo shows how using different types of lights and objects conveys different photos. In this photo it shows how important light actually is. I enjoy the contrast from using different light sources to create my images.
This is my second image from shoot 4. I wanted to use a human being as a figure and use a torch to draw around the person to create a light painting. This is a light painting portrait. When experimenting with this photo I liked how the person is some parts of the image overlaps the torch light creating a different contrast between the torch and the human. Also I like how some parts of the person is lit up from Manuel light and not natural lights. This shoot was an experiment but when experimenting I found inspiration in the different locations that I shot.
