With this first shoot I just wanted to go out and take a range of different photos to see what different themes I could capture, when I was out I noticed a key theme is nature and the use of the colour green. But to make this in the style of Ansel Adams I would change the image to black and white. This was my favourite image out of the shoot because I like the contrast between the bark and the green moss on the tree, I also like how I have used the rule of thirds by having the tree placed on the left hand side of the frame. Also the tree is the key viewpoint of the photo. I took this from a human perspective. This photograph makes me feel connected with nature and shows a different side of the city. It differs from big buildings to the beautiful side of nature. To make this image better I could use the long exposure technique to make the water look misty and foggy. This would of improved this image but I also think there needs to be a message behind this image to take it to the next level.
